Welcome to The Mary Jane Bellia Ballet School, established in 1979 by Mary Jane Bellia. We are a premier ballet school offering dance classes in line with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus. Our school is committed to providing the highest level of training to help our students build their dance skills, experience, and potential career.
We offer a comprehensive range of ballet classes, including the Pre-Grade Dance Curriculum, Pre-Primary in Dance, Primary in Dance, Grades One through Eight, Intermediate Foundation, Intermediate, and Advanced Levels. For those seeking a more challenging and advanced program, we also offer the Solo Seal and Discovering Repertoire Levels 2, 3, and 4.

Mary Jane Bellia
The art of ballet is a discipline that requires years of dedication, practice, and passion. Mary Jane Bellia embodies all of these qualities and more, with an impressive 44 years of teaching experience in the field. At the young age of 8, Mary Jane began her ballet training, and by 19, she had opened her own ballet school in 1979. Her unwavering commitment to the art is evident in her numerous accreditations, including being an Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance (ARAD), holding a Royal Academy of Dance Teaching Certificate (RTS), and serving as an Examiner on the International Board of the Royal Academy of Dance. As a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Tutor and a mentor for the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS), Mary Jane is dedicated to passing on her knowledge and expertise to future generations of dancers and instructors. Her grace, elegance, and mastery of ballet are truly remarkable and a testament to her lifelong dedication to the art form.

Founded in London in 1920, the RAD has since become one of the most influential dance organizations in the world, setting the standard for ballet training and education.

Our premises is equipped with high-quality sprung-flooring, providing a safe and supportive surface for dancers. We also have dedicated changing rooms for students, ensuring their comfort and privacy. Our premises is wheelchair accessible, enabling students with disabilities to participate fully in our classes.
